About Us

3Stylers was created in mid June 2008 by 2 B-boys and 2 creative minds in a humble kitchen in Barwell. By October 2008 3Stylers had 3 instructors and 2 volunteers dedicating a lot of time and effort to make 3Stylers the biggest dance school in the Midlands. Holding our first open day at Hinckley Leisure Centre proved a huge success with a huge interest from the community, despite only few people showing for the first few sessions. The 3Stylers staff were certain that numbers would pick up. 6 weeks after our open day, we had over 30 students and competition from 2 other break dancing schools. A matter of weeks later we were joined by another instructor – Sam “Bboy” Rowley, shortly followed by Zack “Zack Attack” Webb. We had to turn one class into three with the growing number of students having 2 classes on a Saturday and 1 on a Tuesday. With the bigger picture in mind we decided on finding sponsors which is where Croner Consulting came in. With the Sponsorship money from Croner, we bought 2 speakers and an amplifier so that we didn’t have to rely on anybody else. From this we were able to hold BBQ’s at Bosworth Water Park as a way of promoting 3Stylers and for the parents to get more involved as well for the students to interact with eachother in an environment outside of dancing. In Feb 2009 we took on even more instructors and we decided the only way to get bigger as a dance academy and to encourage more clubs to work together, was to find a place of our own. By Mid May 2009 we had started the transformation of a unit know only to us as “the place opposite Mark Jarvis on Factory Road”. "After 6 long, hard weeks the unit on Factory Road has been transformed into 3Stylers Urban Arts Centre!
